After disaster strikes, the Bob-Whites take jobs as gamekeepers in the Wheeler preserve.  It's in the labyrinth that Trixie and Honey stumble across evidence of a poacher - or a madman loose in the forest!

"It's super-glamorous perfect!" They greeted her with sour expressions on their faces. She glanced worriedly through the French doors at the men in the midst of a heated argument.

It's a horror-cane! Regan and the gamekeeper
fight at Tom and Celia's wedding.
The surly gamekeeper shouldered his ax. "It sounds worse than it really is." "We're invited to Manor House for breakfast."
Fleagle, the lazy gamekeeper, quits
instead of sticking around to work.
Preparing for the storm at the
cozy Belden farmhouse.
A holiday off from school
due to the storm!
"Can't you see I'm talking about Brian's car?" "Surely you can't mean anything that might give me dishpan hands?" "I feel positively naked without any jewelry."
Trixie comes up with a
plan to help Brian.
Putting the plan into action—
and confusing Mart!
Trixie proves she
can be feminine.
"There are such things as poachers." "I don't understand one word, Trixie Belden!" "Miss Non-Sense of America."
Trixie is sure there is a
mystery in the game preserve.
Trixie brings the diamond to Lytell
- and secretly thinks he looks like a goat.
Jim crowns Trixie
"Miss Non-Sense of America."
"His name is Maypenny," Honey said. "How can they act so innocent?"
Honey returns to tell Trixie the
results of her detective work.
Trixie and Honey think the dogs
have done a terrible thing.
